Basic, remote installation, on server, and up to 3 end-user workstations. Installation work will be performed remotely by a GoldMine-certified technical consultant. This service is designed for clients who see themselves primarily as self-supported, or for those who want to be up and running as quickly as possible. The server installation is probably the most challenging part of the process... and, we'll show you how to set up your workstations when we install as many as three workstations for you.
Requirements:
You have to have a "real" Microsoft Server platform, either Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 Server.
You'll need Microsoft SQL Server installed on your server. SQL is included with your GoldMine purchase; we can install it for you for a nominal fee, or you can install it yourself ahead of time.
Finally, you'll need a good internet connection, 500 KB or better, to facilitate our remote installation work. We normally use GoToMeeting, a Citrix product, for remote access. We can user other methods at your request, including Microsoft Terminal Services and Symantec pcAnywhere.
The Assured Installation Plan covers only basic GoldMine installation; it does not include GoldSync setup, iGoldMine setup, or any other customization or user account configuration. Configuration of MS-SQL maintenance or backup is not included. These services are all available on a fee-for-service basis.
